what's with the Bakelite sparky caps : they seem to be fashionable on the UK bikes

I will be doing the motor Bernie. nosexup will aqua blast it so will be like a new engine, with all replated bolts

Never had anything aqua blasted, but do you need to treat the surfaces, as i suppose it will go furry after a few months otherwise??
How much would that lot cost if you don't mind me asking??
