my kr1 b2 nearly finished

Post by martin »

at last, i have nearly finished my 1990 kr1 b2. all thats left is dream machine paintworks to finish the side panels, they are picking the bike up next week and doing the side panels[as they look crap with no green and blue stripes]i must say they did a great job on the fairing. i am trying to sort out a photobucket to post some decent photos. it goes like a rocket, the engine has had a complete stan stevens rebuild and 300 cc conversion and tune, i have completly rebuilt this bike, every seal, bush and nut and bolt,[and countless new parts . but photos dont do it justice, my mate has got a up and coming website if anybody wants to check it out [its www.powerfreaks.co.uk/news] i have sorted a photobucket, not sure if it works. www.photobucket.com/albums/ee284/martinhicks/bikes/

i have nt rode it yet,it will need running in as the complete engine has been rebuilt stan stevens reckons around 10-15bhp more than standard. when i get the side panels sprayed and the bikes finished,i reckon it will only be a sunny day when it comes out

Jeez, that raises the bar somewhat.
It looks considerably better than the brand new one we've all been looking at recently.
A credit to you, well done.
