Ready for the dyno

Post by the-elf »

Hi all,

Just painted up the fairing. it's a bit rough, but it's OK for a race bike :D
The engine has just been rebuilt so It'll need running in before MJ and me head to the dyno on the 24th.

One more than MJ I hope :D so that's about 59BHP     .

To be honest a lot will depend on how well the Zeeltronic ignition works when be start fine tuning her, I think we can push the limit abit if we're lucky and get to high 60's. we'll just have to wait till the 24th to find out.

I would guess she's pushing out about 63+ ATM. I'm hoping that by playing with the ignition we can push that a bit more and get alot more revs as well. We'll just have to wait until the dyno day. :-k

ha just noticed the kr1r tank stickers..
where did you get them from?
would really like some for the hybrid...
is it fitted with the 180mm tiebars in the pik?
just fitted them to mine but still feels a bit low at the rear, gonna make some 176mm to try on this friday at oulton.

Got them from a decal place near Notts. Someone on here mentioned them and they do the KR1S ones so I just asked them to redo the S to a R and they said no problems. I'll have to find where I put there card #-o

They are what ever size I said I was gonna try next, any idea what I said they were? I thought 186mm???? but my mind seems to have gone

i always like to guess lower and any more is a bonus/bigger buzz!! i reckon i have a good 60hp, probably a bit more but the lower figure leaves margin for any potentiol dissapointment. i think whatever you get initially your likely to get a suprising gain with fine tuning on the ignition/powervalve timing. with the added bonus of the cool airbox im in the process of completing i reckon you should have well over 70hp!!!lol \:D/ \:D/
