sperate heads

Im bloodywell hooked now!!has anyone done a sperate head coversion?looking at pics i presume the middle is a thermostat?turning a small head is much easier than a big 2 head jobbie.i recon with a bit of machine work and the tig you could fudge somthing up?

If you do a search you should be able to find some pictures of the one's MJ was making with removable inserts and O-rings etc. Not sure how far Mark got on the project though.
