Can anyone give me some guidance on setting the kips correctly please? Currently building a kr1-s and need assistance!!!
Any photos would be helpful too. Engines ready to have the cylinders offered up and would appreciate all advice.

Thanks guys,
so when i assemble the cylinder head the kips valves should be as above and all will be well? I am presuming the power valves are all the same dimensions and their position will be correct once fitted as above?
Thanks for the swift replies !

Assemble the cylinders, valves and head off the bike then fit them as one unit, this will ensure that you get the head flat. you should be able to turn the valve by hand when everything is tighten up. If you can't then the head isn't on right, you've bent a valve or the head isn't flat

The flats on the top of the valve should all face forward. It is possiable to fit a valve backwards so I assemble them open and check up the exhaust port to ensure that they are in the right position. and check again after fitting the servo as it is possiable to spin one round the wrong way when messing around connecting the cables.

Hope that helps and welcome to the forum.

I seem to have KR1 kips valves and the left hand lever and the right hand lever of the kips valves? (part number 13168 abd 13168c) they are a little different, but I don't know which one is which number.
