RGV rad conversion....help!!!!

Has anyone out there got any piccy's of how and where they mounted the stat/filler unit as im running out of idea's? :-k

I mounted mine above the PV motor, I have seen them mounted on the LHs of the frame as well. Sorry not got any pics of it.

Hi Elf,

I did think that inside the frame was the most logical place for it but was put off by the acess issue with the petrol tank. I did see a unit mounted on the LH of the frame but was'nt sure how it was done.

However, if it worked for you then im sure it'll do for me.....

I had to make a bracket up but it did fit. Its a pity that I don't have any photos and I sold the lot when I got a copy of the kit rad made a couple of years ago.

speak to korky as i gave him a rgv rad with all mounts as the part ur on about it fits (if u take the rad of look at the frame and theres a bar that runs from left to right quite chunky welde to the frame) it fits to the left hand side proud south so the bolt holds it in place if u need one i can ship it to ya dude

Thanks for the offer and advice but i already have mostly what i need and Elf has been very helpful - just was'nt sure about the location.

I will be getting in contact with you for some other bits though....
