JB Weld query

Post by nate »

Hi all,

After the comments about difficulty getting hold of it... well I have bought some... but just want to make sure its the high temp stuff

Its black and red packet... just says J B Weld

600 degrees Farenheit... takes about 15 hours to go off

is this the pukka stuff or the cheap and nasty stuff??

Would rather get it right, than it letting go in my engine

P.S. flowed the cylinders and the top end of the crank today....

Next week will do the inlet side

JB weld is very good stuff, machines nicely too. I would use it for engine mods etc.
Restoring a KR1.
