When we bought my wife's NSR50 gag-bike last year, it was a bit ropey cosmetically. All the panels had scuffs or gouges or snapped-off lugs etc. Over time I managed to acquire a complete set of spare panels for it : top fairing and seat unit from Jersey, tank and new mudguard from Japan, fairing sides from two separate UK breakers, new screen from USA. Don't ask what all this cost...

I wanted to do it in Rothmans colours but the wife is a bit of a Rossi fan so Nastro was agreed on, from his 2000-era NSR500. I got ImageWorks to make me up a scaled-down decal set - great customer service and highly recommended.

I asked '666damned' if he'd paint it for me - he lives near me and I knew he was thinking of expanding his spraying hobby into a business. He'd also made me a set of one-off numberboards for it when we first got it. Despite all the problems he's had over the last few months with the flooding and his work, he couldn't have been more helpful and did a cracking job, meeting the pretty tight deadline I gave him too. Not sure he's keen to do another one just yet though ?

Anyway, it's done, looks great and the wife is really pleased with it. It was on display at the Uttoxeter Show (hence the deadline) and got loads of admiring comments. So thanks Dave.
