2-stroke oil

Post by muzzy »

Hello, I want some information about full synthetic oil for my KR-1. I'm intrested in ELF HTX 976 or ELF HTX 909. I read good things of these oil.Which should I take for my bike( 909 or 976 ?) I used to buy Castrol TTS but is not available here anymore (Belgium). Is the "flavour" of Elf like the good old TTS ?
What is another good alternative about quality and flavour ? (Putoline, Valvoline, Motul, Bel-Ray , ...)
Thanks

I use Silkolean Pro 2 Race which is about £15 a litre.

I've not heard of, or tried those Elf oils.

I use Motul 710 in mine. Used to run it in my KX125s I had which were prone to siezing power valves if you used anything else but. You could use Motul 800 but it's normally a bit dearer than the 710.
