bits in the bottom end, absolutely. that's a big end thrust washer in the last pic

or what is left of it.

top and bottom end rebuild required, will source another head. pitting to the cases, well don't know about that at the moment. I have a spare bottom end so will decide which one to use when i pull the motor out.

yes it was still running at the time.
