good morning

thanks for that nice offer. :D

i have no good experience with used heads from ebay.
bought two and one was skimmed 3mm an warped. the other was also warped.
i think therefore perhaps is better to buy a new one from Kawa.

I know its a bit obvious, but have you measured the cylinder heights. I found mine were different and one wasn't even square. I had to get them both machined so that they were equal. Fitted the head to the cylinders and then cylinders to the cases and all was fine.

hi scooble,

i have measured the cylinder heights.
both are equal.
after the head was grinded, there is no problem with sticking kips valves.
now the problem is the bad squish edge. :(
hope i find a good mechanic which can me put the squish back.

p.s. are you and the bike ok after your "excursion" on PB trackday?

I am fine, walked away without a bruise or scratch. Took my bike to the machine shop and its been there since. I need to find out how its going, but there is no priority at the moment, next track day will be next year sometime. I'll probably get the front forks re-worked before then and fit the flowed cases.
Hope you get yours sorted.
