Had a leak from this gearbox area so a mate changed the seals. Is this the correct position for this seal exposing a gearbox vent or is it suppposed to just go flush and allow oil to internally 'vent' over the back of the seal to keep it lubricated?

Won't take long, just remove the casing, think there's 12 bolts, while its off I suggest you also change the small oil seal (only available from Kawasaki) Or just prize it out & replace with a new one (quicker) If you give me the no's of the seal I will see if I have a spare

Small oil seal on the gear shift shaft has beeb replaced and seems OK.
I'll try Bowen Moto for a seal and hope they have one.
If not, I'll post up the number. Thanks!!!
