Where's my power?

Hey guys, my KR-1S seems to be down on power in the powerband. It will start at about 7000rpm, then will be normal to about 8000, then it doesn't rip through the rest of the band like it should, then when I eventually get to about 11000rpm it hits some proper power like it should, but then its time to change gear.

Obviously the problem is more apparent when the is higher load, ie at higher speed on the freeway.

The powervalves turn on and off when I turn the key.

Any suggestions?
