kr250B and Kr1

All engine numbers start with KR250B on these bikes.
You need to check the chassis number.
KR250B chassis are KR1
KR250C chassis are KR1S
Of course if it is an '88 model, then it's a KR1 for sure.
Most parts are directly interchangeable, while others need to be swapped as a package.

The KR1 arrived in the UK a year after Japen, so a 88KR1 was actually sold in the UK in 89, same with the 89 model. We then missed the KR1S C1 in the UK cause in 1990 we had the B2 (89)instead. We then caught up with everyone else in 1991 with the C2.

All KR1 and KR1S variants use the same pistons/rings and gaskets.
