Crankcase mods for improved torque

Thanks Chaps, very useful. The Aprilia being disc vale was a revelation, though useless to me.

Lozza - what do you mean 'ramp over the crank' - like the TZ which have cirtually sealed cases with a narrow slot for the rod?

Any suggestions on what to do with a V twin with both carbs in roughly the same location - the right hand cylinder has a crank between the reed cage and the transfers...
