Hi,
this seal failed on my KR1S.
Now got hold of this new seal, it looks different from the one that was fitted:
It consists of two parts:
Is it the correct seal to use? I suppose the rubbery seal points to the impeller?

never seen this one. you got this from a Kawa dealer ?

no off ebay, but it was in an originally sealed kwak bag with part no. 49063-1055......

Dismantled another waterpump today, found the above seal (or whatever it is) in the back of the impeller:
Can any confirm this? Perhaps Howie, he posted a pic of his impeller lately IIRC.

that is the correct seal charles, rubber side facing out to the impeller just rebuilding my engine[total strip down done on my bike] wait until you all see it, how it was before is nothing to how it will be when finished]
