Compression

Post by 250 drummie »

I just checked the compression in the KR1 today and it measured 115 psi in both cylinders. So this might have something to do with the lack of go at the track the other day. So what are the chances of me getting away with just a set of rings :-k

according to the manual, standard is between 107-164 psi, so it ain't that bad.

did you open up the throttle fully when testing ?

Yea I tested it with the throttle fully open and closed. I have been thinking about it over night and am going to leave it until it gets worse. At least both sides are even. I am calling the wreckers for S pipes so I might try them first.
