kr carbs

Post by stu »

Ok so i just bought some kr carbs ( i thought ), They are mikuni tm's by the look of it, however it seems the kr's only used keihin pwks? is this correct?
maybe the ones i bought were from another model you guys know of?

I bought two sets out of about 8 or 9 carbs and they were all marked kr250!

Whats the story?

thanks in advance, ps: great site you guys have here!

Hi and welcome to the forum!

The KR1 and KR1S both use Keihin PWK28 carbs, so they must be KR250 (tandem twin) carbs:

Sorry to say, but they were marked correctly. They're for a KR250 Tandem Twin (KR250A), rather than a KR1 (KR250B) or KR1S (KR250C).
KR250 Tandem Twin (Naked)
KR1 Red/White
KR1S Track Bike (has been put on hold for now)
ZXR750 H1 (Winter project)

Are you after carbs for a KR-1 or KR-1S?

Long shot I know but are these still for sale? If so where are you and how much do you want for them?

Cheers,
