Anyone know if the Aussie KR250s had a compliance plate fitted in 1984? I have the Aussie longer rear fender on mine but not the Aussie spec. indicators.
How can I tell if I'm going to have dramas getting this thing registered?
hi I have a 1984 kr250a imported from aus it has a compliance plate fitted on the Lh side of the frame near the head stock with a number, make, model amd serial number stamped on it. I would let you have it but I will need it to get an ageing cert for registration.

Only pre 1975 bikes did not have a compliance plate anything after that has. But that doesnt mean the RTA has a record of the bike. In 1989 they computerised their system and a heap of data was lost. Your plate should be on the headstock gusset on the right hand side.
hi had a look last night and yes your right the plate is on the right side not left, but it is stamped with the year 1984, so they must have fitted these been fitted prior to 85.

My 1984 bike has compliance plate on Lh side with frame # 10600 but no stamping on the frame head stock at all?? Where as my 1985 frames 3 of all have compliance plate and frame # stamped on head stock.
