Hi,
had some problems with the waterpump seal blowing last year. Repaired the seal twice but the problem reappeared after a few hundred miles. For piece of mind I fitted another inner clutch housing with a another waterpump this winter and now after another 200miles it is again leaking water from the drainage outlet passage.
I can't detect any water in the gearbox though.
Has anyone got an idea what might be the cause of this problem?
thanks very much,
Charles

Hi Cliff,
thanks,
Charles
I don't think so (a normal seal was fitted, no obvious changes visible), but to rule this option out I took another waterpump and clutch casing the last time. Will fit a new head gasket as this might be the most likely option.Cliff wrote:Has it been modified in the past to take a larger seal, people do odd things sometimes?
thanks,
