Been busy again today, i polished and painted the side fairing bracket's, painted the sprocket carrier satin back and the sprocket cover was badly scratched so i had to rub it down and paint that satin black too.

goodridge brake lines were the first and only accessory i bought for my kr-1 back in 1989, they not only look great but the brake feel improves 100% as well :)

106 notes? ouch!, mine were 45 quid in 1989, thats inflation for you, and i got 4 lines, one for each caliper, one from the reservior to the master cylinder and one for the rear master cylinder to the rear caliper, they're worth every penny though

Started stripping the engine today, as you can see theres a nasty bodge on the power valve but nothing that cant be sorted, i will be taking it to work tomorrow to remove the flywheel then split the box ready for vapor blasting.

Actually it looks like whoever fettled that power valve linkage has'nt made too bad a job of it.

Even a scruffy KR motor is a thing of beauty :D
