cleaned out carbs other day , running standard airbox , vacuum pipe on lh carb and dont appear to have any leaks from rubbers .
when running at temperature lh exhaust gets hot but noticibly less than rh
with equal pressure from both pipes , idling on 1000 .
i can get both exhausts to both feel very hot but have less pressure on lh pipe .
any suggestions to getting everything equal ?
carb trouble

the tickover screws only lift the throttle slides a tiny bit for tickover, thats why you have equal pressure at tickover [sounds like the tickover screws are close enough]
i would say the problem is the throttle cable at the top of the carbs needs adjusting,
this is what i would do.
take the airbox off and twist the throttle open and put your finger in the back
of the carb and feel fo the throttle slide as it reaches the top [when it is flush with the top
lastly, whenever you alter the throttle cable, always check the punch marks
on the oil pump
