13001-1372 rings dont cover pegs ?

No expert at remembering part numbers Fred but sounds like you have the later Piston for the C2/3 so the rings should cover the peg - have you got earlier rings on a later piston? Is this even possible...?

Have you got a picture?

Someone will have the answer on here, I'm working away at the minute but could check my box'o bits on Saturday :wink:
If it takes more than 2strokes then your just playing at it..

Have a look a jarno's for sale thread, looks like later pistons as mentioned, whats the part No on the rings??

the later [revised ] rings that engulfe [cover] the piston peg
end in part number 46
