Like a Fog Bound Pinhead after taking the bearings out the wheels and forgetting about them for months,i don't know which bearing tube is which and I think there is an rgv front one in for good measure
So does anyone know if the front and back spacer tubes are the same width ? and does anyone know the widths
You would be better of with bearing fit as the centre punch trick means the bearing is only seated on a few high spots rather than equally supported as it would be with the bearing fit (loctite)
I think you can buy small bottles of Loctite bearing fit, you don't need a real high strength one because it just makes it difficult to replace the bearing next time and the residue is a shit to remove without heat
The loose bearing has been loctited in with stud and bearing lock,it says on the packet it is for worn bearing housings so fingers crossed.I put a blob of red paint on so will know if it spins in action
Plan B will be a 16mm wide bearing and 4mm off the wheel spacer but the bearing is a double row bearing so would that be o.k. for a wheel bearing ?
