no matter where you buy them, they are all the same and made in China (the YFZ rad).
if you buy em on ebay europe price will be higher. I bought mine from eaby aussie 'cause that was the cheapest (price + delivery). not that it was send from Australia, thinck it was shipped from China but people advertise them all over the world and prices vary.
My ultimate goal is to die young as late as possible !

I have been messing about dry fitting the rad, I think I have found the best fit location, by dumping the bottom bracket and mounting the rad from the same fixings on a 25x30mm aluminium angle. It places the new shorter rad in a mid possition, further back (closer to the engine (clearing the top fairing).

Once I am 100% happy with it I will remake the mounting brackets. :)

Looking good Mr B =D>
Please share some pictures of the brackets / mountings and hoses needed when you have sussed it out.

That's what I really like about this site, it's a minefield of great info..
Of course everyone see's it differently..
Shown the rad pic to the wife and she said.. "ooh that's a tight fit, how's he going to get it in with the pipe" ... She wondered why I spat out ma tea.. Think I best go and get me coat...
If it takes more than 2strokes then your just playing at it..

The missus loves to give me the benifit of the flashes of engineering genius that just come to her when she sees me doing something.
I always like the "its a bit dark in here, can you see? Why don't you turn the light on?"
It is one of her favorites, when I am changing the light fitting or working on the lighting circuit

I will sort out some finished photos and details of the brackets/hoses.

Cheers
Bernie :)

Nice job there Bernie as shinny as usual but I expect it'll have a tweak. Did you decide on body work, old or new paint job. I'm off to get tyres next weekend and then mot then we are off bar insurance cheers.

Hi Wayne,
I need a new paint job for Japfest, but I may have to make do with the old to get it running and on the road.
Cheers
Bernie :)

Hi Wayne,
I have been really busy at work and I had the builders in at home (garage filled with kingspan insulation) so I could not get near the bike :(

Image

Ben was kind enough to donate some ally plate for me to make the finished brackets for the rad.
I have cut a blank out to size, now I have bent it to shape.
Once I have made the bottom bracket I will polish them :)

Sorted the bottom bracket out, the rad is really solid and clears the fairing all round by about 10mm.
I will sort some photos out later.
Just need to measure up for some nice silicon hoses :)
