I wonder if Beet had some deal with KHI for supply of exhaust pressings. The Beet pipes for the KR-1 had front sections which look identical to those of standard KR-1 pipes (a few pictures from Danny KR-1R in this post: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=11234&p=83542&hilit=beet#p83542).
It would seem as if Beet used some standard Kawasaki parts along with some of its own parts to make these exhausts.
