The TDM rad is an upgrade to the original rad, can't remember we directly compared the RGV to the TDM rad and said the latter was better

The Rgv rad is back on and im racing this sunday so i will let you know the temperature im running at. Im looking to run at 55-65 degrees so i think im gonna use the Nsr250 rad as Heggars is using one and he is a racer so he knows how hot the tuned bike runs at and he says it runns just nice. Does any one else use the Nsr250 ard??

Thinking about it, I think Mark Stevenson may be running an NSR rad on his Orange bike.
Do you know him?
Sorry I can't come over and see you race, I said I would go watch the stock cars with my dad at Brafield.

did anyone work out which rad is the way to go on this for the least expenditure and easiest to swap ?

I would say the TDM rad is the easiest option as far as fitting goes, but not the most efficient.
I have one you can buy off me if you are interested.

what state of tune is the engine in andy, mine is just mildly over standard i fear if mj has been near yours then the rad may not be up to it but on a hot day mine is more like 60degrees however the tdm rad i have was virtually new and my engine has next to no miles on something like 3500 since new.

although it wasn't a hot day the last time I took my bike out, my KFX450 rad keeps my engine very cool indeed (full Bob Farnham race tune). The rad is a bit more rare than the other ones, but worth bearing in mind.
Oh, by the way, I have no idea if it fits the standard fairing though as I run a modified RS125 one on mine.

It's fairly well tuned, running 28's at the moment and yes, MJ has had the engine

thought as much.............. i run rsw bodywork and had to modify it so the air went through the rad as opposed to underneath and around it as well.
