Thank Steve, thanks Paul. I should have the bodywork on it this time next week doing the vinyl, so you will get a better idea of the final clothed results soon.

Bit more pipe work, I've tacked both sides up now and removed the wheel the get them even both sides. I had some 10mm ally bar, so I taped my mini spirit level to it and ran it across the ends of the cans to get them level.

Just wanted to wheel it out the garage and get a better look at the exhausts from a distance.

Thanks Jarno. Jan, I'm guessing it would look something like this in relation to the exhaust and seat unit.

Base coat is complete on the bodywork now, so just doing the stickers and masking before I send it back to have the black finished and lacquer applied.

VERY NICE =D> =D> =D>

Would it have a detrimental effect on the performance of the pipes if they had a flat on the sides? (Where they bulge through the belly pan), I have been trying to visualise how it would effect the reflected pulse, but it is beyond me #-o

As far as I'm aware, it's volume which counts, so a flat (so long as the volume remained the same), would not make a difference to their performance.

As things stand, these pipes give better clearance than what the lomas pipes offer, so I should get at least another 3° of lean angle out of them before they become an issue.

That would never be a problem for me,

(do the standard pipes have a flat in that spot to increase ground clearance?)
