many years ago (78-79) i knew a lad who had a cj250, biggest piece of crap ever (sorry lars)
he didnt help though, once left a socket in the head after adjusting the tappets

I haven't seen one of them in bloody years!

A mate of mine had one, in exactly the same colour too, it was immaculate and when he really gave it some welly it took off like a.... well a tranquilised slug with a gammy leg actually

- alongside an GT250, Yamaha YDS7 and an RD200 the CJ did struggle, even my little GT185 used to blow it away

, when she wasn't in the garage being rebuilt that is

It's great to see that one still exists and that someone has given it a good home

Ironically I have also just received this months Classic Mechanics - I'd avoid it if I were you Lars could be a painful read

Thanks for posting the pic mate, it's brought back a few memories, oh and made me feel very old!
