its mot'd and taxed but i was going to tidy it up over winter so its sort of a project if a bit of a scary one eg rigid back end and square section tyres and stuff anyway its a 1949 BSA 350 road drill i mean B31 actually i think thats makes it older than all us

one day (only had it about 15 years)
I have a mate who has an annual race to Ireland with his brother on D14 Bantams, slipstreaming at 45 mph all the way brilliant fun and never breaking the law!
Cheers

makes me want to get started
i know kr's aren't very big but the bantam looks tiny
thing is it could be even more of a money pit! so it will have
to wait a while
i dont know really this one is original and unrestored. It had been in storage and was up at 1850 but i noticed the oil didnt circulate right (dry sump) so i got the price of a possible damage and fix off. It turned out to be the oil pump drive shaft splines so it cost me 18.99 and about an hour to fix . a restored one the sky is the limit i suppose depending but i have seen later ones (this is a rigid more desirable in theory?) for 2.5k in half right condition but about 1500 is good going for any of them. Personally i always favour an original unrestored bike then you dont have to mess about as you have all the right parts and know what is was supposed to look like
