f250 kr1 makeover

Post by mgtkr1 »

heres some pics at what ive been upto. huge airbox is about 1/3 to been completed, carbs need jetting/slides/needles, shock needs fitting properly/base setting and a new dash is been made to accomadate the laptimer. debating wether to revert back to std pipes as unlike other proddy bikes these pipes are bloody good as std and despite weighing the same as a minibus they have only been beaten in terms of performance by the new lomas pipes. there were a few expensive pipes that were uncommon to the roadie such as swift/quill etc but not sure how they were compared to stock. zxr usd forks are on the cards, debating wether to look out for some zx6r complete with radial calipers as they have been up for sale very cheap on ebay only a few weeks ago. relevant mods to interrnals will be carried out either way(zx6r/zxr400.) a h***a rs 250 fairing is going to be used or possibly a mid 90's tz250. thinkin of blue/yellow paint with black wheels powdercoated.

Sounds good mate, but can you post the pics up on here rather than the RGV250 site. Not all of us are members of both sites.
