The crasy frog I am want to do some minor work on one of these KR-1S motors... (2 KR, 3 motors)
I've read on Stan Stephans website that he uses Wiseco pistons to do the 300cc conversion.
Ok, I'll visit Wiseco website and...I don't know which one use.
Maybe the KRX 150 ( http://www.wiseco.com/PDFs/Catalogs/200 ... erbore.pdf) with 59x54,5 bore size strock??
Anyone here use a Stan Stephens big bore kit? and know the ref of the piston?
And wich set of carburators use with? 34mm? 40????
stan is the man to speak to re 300 kits/mod. the carbs you want are the 35mm pwk keihins. we use them on our race prepped 250's and people have said they are noticebly better on tuned bikes with more power everywere. i can confirm that they dont seem to make the bike suffer at lower parts of the range as you would expect with big carbs. the other benefit is that they were used as part of the race kit aswell as the rare kr1r(higher spec kr1s) so you arent using random bits but kr1s related. i would guess the 35mm carbs would suit the 300 very well.
Hi i recently had mine done by Stan, on the reciept it say's Wiseco 61mm. On top of the old piston also 61mm it has stamped"cooi1.
The price £220.00 +vat for the pistons & you will also need the modified head gasket £28.73 + vat. I run standard carbs, recently had it on the dyno 61bhp, Hope this is of some help

Great. Thanks a lot for this information.
Now I can ask my favorite dealer for more detail about Wiseco pistons.
