KR1S fork oil measurment Confusion

Post by headcoats »

I need the measurment for the fork oil level from the top of the stanchion
to the oil level with the fork compressed and spring removed.

In the KR1 section it clearly shows it's 125 +/- 2mm from the top but in the KR1S supplement i can't see any info.

Plus it looks like the 2 sets of forks (KR1,KR1S) have totally different oil capacitys.

Can someone in the know give me this measurment please :-k

it's all in the manual, that you can find top luft off this site

in section 12 off the KR-1S you'll find how much oil is needed, and how you measure it is the same as for a KR1, which is explained also in the KR1 manual under section 12

definitly not

under Manual, first line = KR1S supplement. under suspension 12.4 (page 67 off 89) you'll read :

oil capacity 360 +/- 4ml when dry
oil capacity 300ml when changing oil

oil level (fully compressed without spring) 186 +/- 2mm
