not a single one.
I've been down here for a few months now and so far
i havent seen a single kr1 or kr-1s for sale anywhere.
A couple of the guys i work with who are bikers say they know
what a kr is but have NEVER seen one.
I might have to go back to an RGV as there are plenty of them down here.
Ther roads down here are bloody awesome, there are twisties that you could only dream of everywhere you go.
some of the road surfaces could be better but they are not too bad

Come on Col your not trying hard enough, I was hoping you would turn up a KR1SP. I've only ever seen the one down there for sale and if I had the cash it would have now be sat in my garage.

Yeah, well he said he's got one but he's not replied to any of the requests for pics and details. We don't know who he is or anything about him. Let's just say I'm not exactly clearing a space in the garage for it...garye345 wrote:some guy on different strokes site has one,and he will ship over.think tim the guy has first dibs though!

KR-1SP
KR-1 version C3A - yellow Sports Production stickers were standard
the only variation from the C3 was the 35mm carbs, reed stuffer, airbox rubbers etc from the KR-1R.
Standard C3 gearbox. 8:1 compression ratio (milled heads) and some tickling of the cylinder ports.
BRAKE CALIPERS
less than 12 were made/assembled - this was cheaper than importing the 'R'
in 1988 the KR-1 (B1) was NZ$7200 new - I think the first RGVs were about $7800 if I can recall - the later model KR-1S and RGVs went up to about $9000.

YOU JUST HAVE TO BE REAL QUICK...admittedly its the seems to be the SAME KR-1S that keeps popping up (March '07, Nov'08)
viewtopic.php?p=7091&highlight=steal
but have seen several KR-1 at OK prices ($2-3k) since mid '07
My heart was racing when I saw the Black and Green one, but to be honest it looks like a bit of a mutt...(considering how many parts it comes in - a bit like those magazine where you get one part each week)
