has anyone used a standard split link chain is thjs safe

i have never had a problem with a split link chain on a kr 'o' ring or not.
my track bike even has one :D

03 r6 race/trackbike
dr500 flat tracker project
plus a few more......x7,kdx125 etc

yes no problem wouldnt use one on anything more than a 400, but saying that there was one on me old zxr750J1 with no problems, mind u when i found out new chain went straight on.. #-o #-o
