power valve issue

Post by buzinc »

If I insert a powervalve into my cylinder head as per pic, there seems to be an awful amount of free play, is this normal?

Having checked the fiche/manual, It appears the guides/inserts are not replaceable.

Looking closely I think the guides could be pressed out, but I would have to make replacement ones. Has anybody tried this or should I not worry?

I wouldn't worry, as long as when the top-end is completly build, the valve doesn't have too much free play, everything is ok.

I don't think it has seperate guides, just seals on top off the head.
My ultimate goal is to die young as late as possible !
