Hi all,
was going to take my kr-1 for a spin today but wouldn't start (fortunately) since on closer inspection, I noticed a puddle of oil underneath it. I had a look and it turns out that the thing had been leaking oil from the gearbox, there was a nice trail all across the RHS (mainly exhaust and tyre), plus the aforementioned puddle.
Looking a little bit closer still, I noticed some coolant in the mix as well. Checked the coolant level and it was - unsurprisingly - suspiciously low compared to what it had been before.
The oil/coolant on the back tyre is just on the RHS, as well as on the RHS exhaust. This at least solves the mystery of why it felt like the tyres were really worn, when I know they're fairly new...
Anyone got any ideas, let me know. cheers

there is a seal between the water pump and the gearbox. That'll be the problem.
