Graham File did my crank, he used rods made by 'Long'. Not finished putting my engine back together yet, so can tell you how good/bad they are!

On the LC Forum there are only 2 cranks builders that people trust and one is P J Engineering and the other Granbys of Liverpool.

Thanks for your answers.
i use the con rod kit made by "Long" since ~3000km in my TZR.
i don't know the company.
the big end bearing is different to the original Yamaha.
the bearing has a needle less.
perhaps not good for high RPM?
and now my TZR sounds not good.....

(it is not so loud in reality)
in hope not the crank...
perhaps only loose power valves.

seems like that ticking sound disappears when you rev it high enough ?
if so, check your flywheel didn't come loose

can you feel some movement in the flywheel ? I guess not, than you would have posted "Tnx Jan"

.
Does it make the sound
* anywhere -by that I mean any cranck angle - ?
* only when you change the rotation direction or even when when you just keep rotating ?
* only at BDP off one off the cylinders ?
