power valve linkage

Post by lt_kr1 »

Hi,
so after the clutch/shift levers the power valve linkage is the next bit that came loose...can only repeat that I'm new to this project, so was wondering if any of you have encountered that problem and how you fixed it (so that it doesn't come off again in a few weeks' time)
Seems like I'm missing a few bits and pieces (might have hit other drivers projectile-style when I was out on her last weekend and they came off), so does anyone know where to get replacements (or did anyone get hit on the A82 last weekend and kept the bits as evidence??)

I use loctite to secure the different screws of the linkages.

For the linkages contact Leewc here on the forum:

If you need some power valve wheels/pullies as well, they're no longer available from Kawasaki, if you're lucky you might be able trace some secondhand ones. I'll be producing a batch of them soon.

cheers,
Charles
