V Force 3 reed valve fitting

Post by KR1S91 »

Hi all, This question may have been asked on here before, but i've recently purchased some new v force 3 reeds for my kr1s. The bike will be running standard 28mm carbs, with standard reed rubbers etc. My question is, do i need to modify the stuffers in the v force blocks or will they be okay being offset in comparison to the standard reed block? Are there any mods need or can i get away with bolting straight on?

Cheers

I think you will be OK (but wont be optimal)

the picture below shows comparison between 35's and VForce
although the KDX hole is slightly offset...
... its a bigger hole than needed on the 28's (which will be central in comparison)
