Gasket templates?

Post by scooble »

I was wondering it it would be a good idea if it was possible to create an A4 gasket template and place it in the Archive section (or manual), it would just mean making the paper gaskets a little bit easier cutting round a template instead of cutting round the engine covers.

In the next week or 2 I'm going to buy a gasket kit off the net, cos I'm far to lasy to cut around stuff myself. I could chuck it on the scanner at work and post it. But if you need it now I can't help you.

Janbros started doing this in the KR-kive a while back, but he only had base gaskets to scan at the time. If I get my scanner hooked back up I'll try to remember to scan in the genuine gaskets I have waiting for my track bike engine build. Although with my memory, it could take a while.

Couldn't we scan them as pdf-file, then they would be 1:1.
