Hi everyone, one of me bikes has developed a water leak from the metal water pipe from the pump across the front of the cases, it's actually leaking where the pipe goes into the cases.
Is this a major job? How is the pipe fixed into the cases? Can't find anything about this in the manual

Seem to remember that it's held in place by the water pump casing bit and the two bits that go into the engine are just 'o' ringed up. Sounds like you've got a dodgy 'o' ring.
the water pipe just plugs into two rubber o rings... Should just be able to pull it out I think.... But be carefull, you dont want the crap going back into the crank case... if you see what I mean...
I have my engine in bits, so can post a pic if its helpful...
I have one in my garage, so here is a picture. If i remember you have to remove a securing bolt first. Hopefully you will only need to replace the "o" rings).
This one i promised to NOS EXUP a long time ago . ( sorry it's on it's way soon).
when mine failed i tried to remove it without removing the outer engine casing and its impossible...u have to remove the cover first ..and put some silicone on the o rings as they can fail from new......best of luck...
bring a ding ding i'm a throttle happy chappy...
you cant beat a bit of blue haze...
