this is more difficult i will take some photos later to try and explain.
i made 2 top hat spacers that shim the swing arm out and take up the difference between the bearings and the spindle.
the lower dog bone mount i made a aluminium block that clamps on the bottom frame mount.
the top shock mount is a steel affair that crosses over the frame and clamps the shock.
it was all a bit heath robinson / belt and braces but actually works real well and i am probably going to improve the workmanship this winter.
the rear wheel is a 1200 bandit with some major re working of the sprocket carrier. i may cut and weld the swing arm to allow a 160 tyre as i cannot get cheap wets and yo need them under the trees in dalby and scarborough.
overall i just wanted a faster bike to compete with and although it is much faster than the elsie it is the little rd that has carried me succesfully through this year
best newcommer and 5th in the overall championship has really got me going for next year and i am looking for a 600 to run alongside the ypvs and keep the elsie as a spare bike incase i blow something up prices are so bad it aint worth selling anything just sit on it till the market changes.
As i said it only took 2 months from absolute scratch to being on the start line and about £500 all in get your parts from ebay whilst everything is so cheap and get on the track next year
