Leak

Any suggestions why one of my carbs is overflowing. Have stripped and checked float height and all appear fine ?

check that the float valve isn't worn or obstructed - check by removing the carb, blowing down the fuel pipe whilst the carb is upside down

When I blow into the fuel pipe the valve does open and close when you invert the carb. The valve does not appear worn

It can only be the float height or the valve. Are you sure you hav'nt bent the small tang on the float :?: If not then make sure the pin is clean and the float is moving freely on it.Then its down to that valve or the valve seat clean them with good carb cleaner or better still replace them the're not dear.

The float can catch the little brass overflow tube if it is slightly twisted
