hi everyone,i need some kr1s crankshaft pics to see if the centre gear is timed correctly.

i mean a pic that shows me the punch marks and the position of conrods

hope you guys can help me

THIS IS ONLY A GUESS

at (left cylinder) bottom dead centre, the balance shaft lobe (left most one) should be at its upper most point,
this thinking would indicate that when the pistons are mid stroke (left piston on way up) the left balance lobe should be front most

thanks a lot guys

mine has the punch marks on the opposite side,i mean left conrod(upper in pic) is in the same position but has the marks on the rear side(see pic from Jan)

can this be my problem??

i mean vibration

I think JANS pic show right cylinder top
left cylinder bottom???

sorry but i dont think so,because the crank gear that moves the clutch is on the bottom of pic,and the rotor fits in the upper side(left if you are riding the bike)

Yeah, I think it probably is.
Your balance shaft timing will be 180deg out of phase. Just put a new mark on the tooth 180deg around from the origional one, and put it together using the new mark. Should see your engine running nice and smooth after that.
