It took a while to find one!
Hi from a newbee. I've been reading the posts and picking up some good tips. Many thanks to all.

i used to run the oil pump slighly higher than required for peice of mind when giving it berries, used to have to change the plugs a bit more

Thanks for the advice, the end cans are from ebay. They were $82 Aus, so I saved £100 on tyga or others advertised. The quality is good and they bolted straight on. The link is below:

Thanks, yes well pleased. I didn't realise the ones I'd seen would be so variable. There doesn't seem to be any uniform value. Just what someone is willing to pay.
I know it sounds corny but it's great to be able to share views and valuable info on a forum like this. I've been rebuilding two strokes for thirty years (Vespa's- yes I know, even raced scooters for a few seasons) but fickle twin rice burners takes it to a different level.

you shouldnt have much bother if you keep everything right, I would also put the oil pump up slightly or just run PreMix. Definitely dont jet down.zebsp wrote:fickle twin rice burners
Keep the fuel tank fairly full at the track, avoid starvation. Maybe have a spare chain if the current one is old.
Have fun
