i do - but i still get a bit of pressure to sell

thing is if you add the total expenditure it's still a lot less than most people spend on 1 bike

all insured under 1 policy so only extras are MOT/tax - approx
£50/bike = £3.00 /week - pint & half of beer? - i know which i'd
rather have

thanks for the comments guys

bl/gr one is powder coated - was already done when i bought
it. think it might have been a race/track bike at one time as it
had no oil-tank and was running on pre-mix (since converted)
got it for bargain price of £450!

Nice bikes garry , ive my green white blue kr-1s done with a black powder coated frame, but have to say it looks better on the green black one. Rebuilding my green black one at the minute so am tempted to powder coat the frame black on it.

hi lee

when i bought it, it came with a spare smashed up belly pan
i cut the extensions from this

cut a couple of strips of alloy to link fairing to extensions and
drilled/screwed it all together

cut a piece of stainless steel sheet to bridge the gap between the extensions underneath

also made an ally bracket to connect r/h side to screwhole where
the overflow bracket normaly mounts to stop it moving around

didn't get a blue peter badge though :)

i'll post a pic at the weekend

know what you mean about the fairing - they seem to stop too short
and make it look a bit dated -it's not so obvious on black ones because
the fairing tends to blend with the exhausts
