Radiator upgrade ?

Post by andy b »

I need to upgrade my radiator to bring the engine temperature down as im currently running at 75 degrees and therefore i will be loosing valuable BHP.Does anyone know what radiator will fit my Kr1s as i have tried the RGV curved rad which is currently fitted. I have measured the Nsr 250 m16 and it is like a tiny bit bigger so this wont do. :(

I think Spannerman used a TDM rad, I used a Kawasaki KFX450 quad rad. Seems to keep things nice and cool

I have a TDM rad for my KXR500 project. it'll fit but it's a bit wider, haven't checked if this will interfer with the fairing.

i was origionally after i think maybe a husaberg or husky rad but stumbled across a tdm 850 rad its getting on for 40mm thick if i remember correctly about 200mm high and 390mm wide, ran it at brands indy on a trackday and the temp kept to about 55/ 60 degrees. just as important everything is correct to just connect straight up.
