Standard KR1S cylinder port map?

Post by maccas »

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if anyone has a port map from a bog standard KR1S cylinder that they could kindly put up?

I've seen the KR1 cylinder port map in the magazine article with the TZR 2ma and RGV but would really like to see a KR1S portmap.

I don't have any standard cylinders otherwise I would do one myself and put it up.

Cheers,

Dan

Mj,

Thats brill! Thanks alot!

It will be good to have a definitive measure on how far away I am from a stock cylinder.

Thanks again,

Dan

Be great to see the S port map.
I thought the difference in ports was limited to the fact that the
later KR-1S doesnt have the lower boost port opposite the exhaust (so 8 ports in bore instead of 9) :?:
If it takes more than 2strokes then your just playing at it..

Piccy for the moment. I might have to do this again but it is a pain as the barrel is covered in its original protective grease. Measurements to follow

Cheers for that MJ!

The kips ports on the 1S barrel are considerably bigger than on a 1 barrel aren't they.
